I made this carrot piñata per a custom request, which is how most of my pinatas begin. I never imagined it would be such a hit. I have sold over 50 of these! Check out some of the fun ideas!
I love the photos from this adorable party. Check out more at Sophia’s website, Eclectic Mama Bear and follow her on Pinterest here.
Sometimes I go months without reviewing my Etsy feedback, even though I get a notification any time a new feedback is posted. It’s nerve wracking! Someone just publically judges something I created, and what if they hate it?? But oh, what if they love it! I recently took some time to look back at some feedback, which was overwhelmingly positive. I’m so thankful for all my wonderful customers who take the time out of their day to make my business better. Here’s a few of my awesome customers who reviewed.
You can choose from Frankenstein, a witches hat, mummy, or a tombstone personalized with your saying. Check it out here
I have been MIA! Not to pinatas though, just to blogging and keeping up on my website.
I recently got married and we bought a house. So things have been great! I'm excited to all the fun creations this summer will bring!
It's a thing! And it's actually pretty neat.
I can see this hanging in a little boys room or even given as a gag gift.
My son will be working on these and selling them in our Etsy shop: Marci and Son. He has a few other listings up including a dinosaur, cougar and giraffe. And more to come.
Have you ever heard the "Sorry I have to wash my hair" excuse? I often wonder if people roll their eyes at me when I say "Sorry, I have too many pinatas to make tonight."
I'm finding myself saying this alot lately. April has been a mixed blessing of the highest sales month ever. And the month isn't even over yet. I've actually even had to turn away some orders because I simply couldn't do any rush orders.
If there's a problem to have, that's it. However, that's also meant the term "Free time" is completely non existent for me right now. And I don't think friends truly understand just how many hours I work, often well into the night to meet deadlines.
The Day of the Dead is a very important holiday in the Mexican culture. People gather to celebrate deceased loved ones. They play music and have festivities November 1-2. In 2013 this falls on a Friday/Saturday and I'm expecting to see a big(ger) trend in Day of the Dead weddings this year.
I have sold numerous Sugar Skull pinatas, but the very first Sugar skull was actually used as wedding decor and the card holder. I have done numberous sugar skull card holders since then and I bet there will be several more this year. You can view our Etsy listing here.
Check out my Day of the Dead Wedding treasury here for great Day of the Dead Wedding ideas.
Unless you're getting stung, admit it, Bees are fun and the possibilities for a BEE themed party or BEE crafts are endless.

Welcome to our BEEhive
Sweet as can BEE
It really shouldn't come to such a surprise to use that my original BUZZY BEEHIVE pinata has always been a best seller. In recent weeks it has been selling more than ever, which can only mean spring is in the air!
Just surfing the web and looking at BEE inspired items makes me happy. Maybe because the color yellow affects us physically by stimulating the mental process and nervous system, activates memory and encourages communication. Maybe that's why I was insired to share this BEE Story.
I just recently had a request and started selling these personalized beehives with the BEE day saying.
I'm a mother of three. I love arts and crafts, cooking and baking, and reading and writing. This is just a place I come to share a few thoughts and spread the word about other crafters/bloggers.
